They are using AWS to balance their loads, probably taking into consideration average ping between all participants.. I get 19 ping in most games but 28 in ~30% of my games. The ping is consistent per game, it's either 19-20 or it's 28. If I start on 28 then I end on 28, if I start on 19-20 then I end on 19-20. Ping spikes is an issue that continues to plague League players worldwide. What this basically means is that, for the most part, you could have low latency, but it occasionally rises to around 150 Wait a day or so to see if it goes back to normal. In the meantime though check all your connections and make sure everything is plugged in tight, sometimes a little loose cable can screw things up. So everytime I play on LoL PH my ping is always 100-250, that is stable throughout the day until midnight comes which lowers the ping from 100-250 to 8 ms. I did a little experiment. Yesterday, I changed my Garena's region to Indonesia, downloaded the game and played a couple games. Every games I played is stable 40 ms, plus G9x7gir.
